Spray-on protective coatings

Polyurea coatings for tanks, roofs, slabs & containment

A seamless, waterproof shell sprayed directly onto the surface you need to protect. Polyurea sets in seconds, bonds to almost anything, and takes the abrasion, chemicals, and UV that would otherwise end the life of the asset underneath.

UNDERSTANDING COATINGS

A shell that fits whatever it's sprayed on

How polyurea protective coatings work

Polyurea is a two-part product — an A-component isocyanate and a B-component resin. The two are heated and combined at the gun under high pressure, then sprayed onto the surface. The reaction is fast: the coating sets within seconds and cures without solvents or off-gassing.

Because it goes on as a liquid, it wraps corners, seams, bolt heads, and penetrations as one continuous membrane — there are no laps or joints to fail. Surfaces need to be dry and clean, and any debris or moisture has to come off before we spray, which is exactly why prep is most of the job.

Once it's down, you get a tough, flexible, waterproof layer that moves with the substrate instead of cracking away from it — the same product used in the automotive, pipeline, defence, healthcare, and construction industries.

WHAT COATINGS PREVENT

Everything fails at the surface first

Tanks, roofs, slabs, and pipes almost never fail in the middle of the material. They fail where water sits, where product splashes, where equipment scrapes, and where the sun beats down all summer. A coating is the cheapest layer in the whole assembly and the only one you can replace without touching the rest.

Standing water

The single biggest cause of corrosion and delamination on tanks, roofs, and slabs.

Chemical exposure

Fuel, fertilizer, effluent, and cleaning product that eats an unprotected surface.

Abrasion & impact

Equipment, tools, foot and vehicle traffic wearing a surface down a layer at a time.

UV & freeze–thaw

Southern Alberta sun and seasonal cycling that opens cracks and lifts old membranes.

Spray-on coatings are also an excellent way to extend the life of a roof you already have — they can be applied over EPDM, TPO, PVC, asphalt, wood, and concrete rather than tearing the system off.

Frequently Asked Concrete Lifting Questions

  • Foam protected from UV will outlast the life of your home. The concrete itself won't sink again because of the foam's density — it doesn't absorb water and it doesn't break down.

  • You can walk on the concrete within minutes and drive a car over it within hours, depending on how much foam was needed.

  • Yes. Foam concrete lifting and leveling is safe for the environment, and is used for commercial and industrial water-retention structures.

  • In almost every case, yes — there's no demolition, no disposal, and no new pour to cure. We'll tell you honestly if a slab is too far gone to lift.
